These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WeddingStory.ai platform (the “Service”), operated by Marsden Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding contract between you and us. We may update them from time to time and will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.
The Service does not use accounts or passwords. When you begin a project we create a private link containing a unique access token. That link is the only way to reach your project, your uploaded photographs and your film while it is being made.
Anyone who has your project link can view and change your project. Keep it private. We cannot tell whether a person holding the link is you, and we are not responsible for access gained by anyone you share it with, or by anyone who obtains it from you. If you lose the link, contact us at contact@weddingstory.ai and we will do our best to help, but we may be unable to restore access.
You are solely responsible for the photographs you upload, including ensuring you hold all necessary rights and consents.
The Service creates a short film from wedding photographs you upload. Each photograph becomes a moving scene of approximately three seconds, and the scenes are joined together with a licensed music track.
All packages are one-off purchases. There is no subscription and no free trial.

Film lengths are approximate and depend on the number of photographs you upload.
We use artificial intelligence and automated image analysis to transform your photographs. This includes detecting faces, deciding how each photograph should be treated, generating moving scenes using third-party AI services, and assembling the result. Section 4 and our Privacy Policy describe the third parties involved.
When your film is ready we email you a link to it and you can download it. Your film is also available at a public share address, which Section 5 explains.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or specific processing times. Times we quote are estimates only.
You retain all ownership rights in the photographs and other content you upload (“Your Content”). We claim no ownership of it.
By uploading Your Content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to store, process, transform and create derivative works from it, solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes sending your photographs and images derived from them to the third-party processors listed in Section 4. This licence ends when we delete Your Content, except for copies we are required to retain by law.
We do not use your photographs to train AI models, and we require the same of our processors.
This is important. You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from every identifiable person appearing in Your Content, including their explicit consent to facial recognition and analysis being carried out on their images by automated systems. This includes your partner, your families, your wedding party and your guests. If you cannot obtain that consent, do not upload photographs containing that person.
You warrant that: (a) you hold all rights, licences and permissions necessary to upload and use Your Content; (b) Your Content does not infringe any third party’s rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights; and (c) Your Content complies with all applicable laws.
You can delete individual photographs from your project at any time before payment using your project link. After that, or to delete your entire project including your film, contact us at contact@weddingstory.ai and we will delete it. Download links we provide expire after 24 hours and can be regenerated by revisiting your link.
To produce your film we send your photographs, and images derived from them, to third-party services. By using the Service you consent to this. The current processors, and what each receives, are listed in our Privacy Policy. They may change as the Service develops; we will update the Privacy Policy when they do.
Some of these providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Our Privacy Policy explains where your data goes and the safeguards that apply.
Every completed film is given a public web address containing a random identifier. Anyone with that address can watch and download your film without logging in. This is deliberate, so that you can share your film with family and friends easily.
The address is not guessable in practice, but it is not private in law: it is a public page and it may be viewed by anyone you or anyone else shares it with. Do not share it more widely than you intend.
If you would like your film’s public address disabled, contact us at contact@weddingstory.ai and we will do so.
All packages are single payments. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling, US dollars, Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars, selected from the country your connection appears to originate in. The price you are shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
Because your film is digital content produced specifically for you and delivered promptly after purchase, you agree that we begin work immediately on payment and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once we have begun.
Beyond that, payments are non-refundable. If a technical failure prevents us delivering your film, we will either remake it or refund you, at our discretion. AI-generated results vary and Section 8 explains the limits of what we can promise about how your film looks; dissatisfaction with the artistic result is not by itself grounds for a refund.
You are responsible for any taxes or fees applicable to your purchase.
The Service is for wedding and related celebration photographs. You may not use it for any other purpose.
You must not upload or attempt to generate content that is: (a) sexual, violent, harmful or illegal; (b) infringing on copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property; (c) defamatory, obscene or discriminatory; (d) images of people who have not consented as required by Section 3.4; or (e) unrelated to weddings and celebrations.
You must not: (a) interfere with the operation of the Service; (b) upload malicious code; (c) attempt to access another person’s project; (d) attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions; or (e) use the Service in breach of any law.
We may review content for compliance. Breaches may result in removal of content, refusal of service and termination without refund. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
Your film is produced by artificial intelligence and the result is not fully predictable. It may contain visual artefacts, distortions, unnatural movement, altered facial expressions, or details that differ from your original photographs. Backgrounds, hands, clothing and people other than the main subjects may be rendered imperfectly. We do not guarantee any particular aesthetic outcome, fidelity to your photographs, or accuracy of facial appearance or expression.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We disclaim liability for the acts, omissions or availability of third-party services on which the Service depends.
We own all rights in the Service, including its software, methods and the music we license for use in films.
Your film is a derivative work of Your Content. You own it, subject to the licence in Section 3.2 and to the music, which remains licensed to us and is included in your film for your personal use. You may share and display your film, including publicly and on social media. You may not extract the music for separate use.
Any suggestions you give us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to 10.1, our total liability arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
Subject to 10.1, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss, including loss of data, profit or goodwill.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your photographs. We are not a backup service and are not liable for loss of Your Content.
We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages.
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data.
We may suspend or end your access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.
On termination your licence to use the Service ends. We may retain records we are legally required to keep.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us.
By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
