An anniversary video, made from the wedding photos
For a silver, ruby or golden anniversary, the wedding photos are often the only record of the day. We turn them into a short film with music, each photograph moving for three seconds, so the couple can watch their wedding again.
From $70 · usually ready in minutes

A print from a 1970s album, and the scene made from it.
Finding the photos
The album is the obvious place, but not the only one. Relatives often keep prints the couple has never seen, and a photographer’s proofs sometimes survive in a drawer. You don’t need the originals: a clear photo of a print, taken on a phone, works. So does a scan. Either way, upload them as JPEG or PNG files.
- Lay the print flat near a window, in daylight.
- Turn the flash off; it leaves a glare spot on glossy paper.
- Hold the phone directly above, so the picture isn’t skewed.
- Fill the frame with the print, not the table around it.
Old, faded and damaged prints
We don’t colourise, retouch or repair photographs. Each scene is made from the picture as it is: faded colour stays faded, and a crease stays where it is. The age of a print matters less than its faces. If they’re clear and turned towards the camera, an old photo can make as good a scene as a new one. If a mark or crease runs across someone’s face, the AI may smooth over it or reinvent that part, so use another photo if you have one.
A 1970s wedding, as the film arrives

Keeping it a surprise
Everything happens online, so the film can be made without the couple knowing. The link arrives in your inbox, not theirs. Play it from a phone or laptop at the party, cast it to the television, or send the link. Because most films are ready in minutes, it still works if you’re organising this the week before.
How long a film to make
Ten photographs make about half a minute, enough to play before a toast. Forty make about two minutes. Prices in USD.

Questions
- Who can make one?
- Anyone with the photos: one of their children, a grandchild, a friend, or one of the couple. The film is about the couple, and nothing in it says who made it.
- Can I add their names, the date or a message?
- Not at the moment. The film opens with a short WeddingStory title card and goes straight into the photographs.
- There are only a few photos. Is that enough?
- One photo is enough to make a film, but three seconds isn’t much of a gift. Around ten is where it starts to feel like the story of a day.
- Will the faces still look like them?
- Usually, but not always. The AI works from the photograph and can shift an expression or get a detail wrong, especially with small or partly hidden faces. Choosing the clearest photos you have makes the biggest difference.
- What if a scene doesn’t work?
- A scene the AI can’t make is retried automatically, then given a gentle camera move instead, so no photo is left out. If something in the finished film isn’t right, email contact@weddingstory.ai.
- What happens to the photos afterwards?
- They’re deleted 90 days after the film is delivered and never used to train AI. The film can be watched and downloaded for 12 months.
