Choosing the photos
A good wedding film has a shape: getting ready, the ceremony, the two of you, the party. Pick photos that cover the whole day rather than twenty from the same five minutes.
- Close photos of people make the liveliest scenes. Where faces are clear, the people in the picture move.
- A few photos without faces (the venue, the table, the rings) get a slow camera move and give the film room to breathe.
- Group photos work when the faces are big enough to see. The long shot of every guest on the steps will get a camera move, not animated people.
- Leave out photos where faces are side-on or half-hidden. The AI invents what it can’t see.
Photos go in the order they were taken, using the time your camera recorded. If you’d rather tell it differently, drag them into another order before checkout. Once you’ve paid, the selection is fixed.
What you get
One landscape film at 1920×1080, the shape of a TV screen. It opens with a two-second title card, then shows each photo as a three-second scene: about half a minute for 10 photos, just over a minute for 20, about two minutes for 40. Portrait photos are cropped around the faces where they fit; otherwise they’re shown whole on a soft, blurred background.
When it’s ready you get an email with a link to watch, download and share it. The link keeps working for 12 months.
What it isn’t
It isn’t footage of your day. There’s no sound from the ceremony, no speeches, and people won’t move exactly as they did. Each photograph is brought to life for three seconds by AI. What you get back is the day in motion again, built from the moments your photographer caught.

Questions
- We didn’t hire a videographer. Is this the same?
- No, and it doesn’t pretend to be. A videographer records what happened; this animates the photos you have. For many couples that’s the part they miss: seeing the day move, not a record of every minute.
- Can we use guests’ phone photos?
- Yes, as long as the faces are clear and the files are JPEG or PNG. Mixing the photographer’s shots with guests’ photos works fine, but each scene is only as sharp as its photo: a blurry snap becomes a blurry scene.
- How many should we pick?
- Twenty covers a day well and makes a film of about a minute. Forty gives you the whole day in about two. You can upload fewer than your package allows, but the price stays the same.
- Can we change photos after paying?
- No. Payment starts the film, so check the selection and the order first.
- What if a scene looks wrong?
- Scenes are made automatically, and AI can get hands, background guests or an expression wrong. A scene that can’t be made at all is retried, then given a camera move instead. There’s no button to remake one scene. If something in the finished film isn’t right, write to contact@weddingstory.ai.
- Who can see our photos?
- They’re used only to make your film, never to train AI, and deleted 90 days after delivery.
